To follow up the success of her mixtape “Roses N’ Guns: The totally bad ass mixtape that rocks,” Nikki Lynette is releasing her first EP. “The Strong Survive” finds Nikki flexing her production skills over seven tracks of bad-assness and sass & brash. Taking artistic autonomy to the extreme, Nikki chose to helm the project solo. “I produced, wrote, and performed the entire EP myself,” she says. “I even did the artwork for the cover. I am releasing it to raise money to complete my debut album. It’s gonna rock.” In July, the title track and lead single from “The Strong Survive” was featured on the second season premiere episode of MTV’s hit reality show Jersey Shore, making a total of three songs from this EP that are being featured on shows on MTV right now. To spread the word about this project, Nikki is going on a month long road trip to sell cd’s to her fans in 20 cities across the United States. She will be joined by Youtube vlogger and comedian Nathan Fisher and the entire experience will be filmed and documented at both Youtube.com/NikkiLynetteMusic and Youtube.com/NatesVlogs in a series called “Nikk N’ Nate: State 2 State.”
